Weekend with the Thrashers! :)

Well I haven't been on in a while because I have been busy, busy, busy! It's that time of year where I have theatre finishing up, the Red, White, and Blue Revue starting, Track and Training ending, and throwing in extra things lik Glory and the Fire Drama we did at church! Which was TOO much fun! I was an angel and we got to have sparkle faces which were way cute! :)

So this weekend I had this Dinner Theatre thing where you could come and eat dinner for $6 and then get to watch our One Act Play we did for District! It was a crazy week and me and Mal were gonna go to Lubbock to get some last minute prom essentials so we decided to have a girls night and have a little sleepover!

We had so much fun as we laughed at Bonnie and her crazy words, Kody and Adrian,(who I now call Bubba thanks to Mal) fight over their game, talk to random people on the phone and gossip till 2:30 in the morning!

Saturday:

We get up and Mal goes out to get the horses ready for her and sister Regina who was coming over to get a quick ride in! Me and miss Bonnie head to town for some donut holes which by the way I bought 2 dozen and she ate about 1 1/2 dozen of them suckers! We get home and play hide and go seek, paint toe nails, water mommy's grass and take a little walk outside since it was such a pretty day! And take some pretty hilarious pictures!!! :)

Mal gets back and we headed out to Lubbock and went to Dusti's and Dillards for some Prom shoes and jewelry! Which I absolutely adore!!! And we head back to town, get pulled over thankfully NO tickets, I go to my Dinner Theatre and Cast Party and then call Mal to come get me! Which right now my poor wittle car is in the shop! :( We head to McDonalds to get food for our hungry crybaby's which would be Kody and Bubba! It took forever to get our order and then I forgot to check the bag for the fries so they weren't too happy hahaha! Then we try to play Call of Duty and Epic Failed that mess! Headed off to bed, woke up this morning for church and then napped!!! It was a long weekend but TONS of fun! I love you guys!

Just life! :)

So I haven't been on in forever! Hahah almost a whole week! ;) So I think i'll just give you a quick view about my week!

Monday:

It was just a normal day! Went to school, training, tanning, and had no choir practice! It was such a relief! I needed a break and we don't have any rehearsals for theatre for the next two weeks! I am super pumped!

Tuesday:

Did pretty much the same thing! But I actually had to study for a test! :/

Wednesday:
I was super excited for Wednesday because I was gonna get to go to church and see everybody! But then I get a call and my mom tells me that we are gonna go have a girls night out. We went to dinner and a movie for my Great-Grandma's 90th birthday! It was a lot of fun and it's such a blessing to be able to have her around for another year! :)



Thursday:
I had so much to do in training! I had to get our kit together for the track meet on Friday, help several of the guys ice down so they weren't so sore!, and then I went and made sure all the coaches were good with the kit and had all the schedules!

Later that night, I went over and got to babysit my best fran Bonnie Kayte! I just love that girl! She's my little sweetheart! We had a blast as we colored, ate noodles with our fingers, took some silly pictures, and "mowed mama's carpet" she says!

Friday:
It was just a relaxing day! I went tanning, filled my gas up, stopped by my cousin's house to catch up on the latest gossip ;) and went and ate with the family at Cotton Patch! It was DELICIOUS! :)



Saturday or Today:
I went to town and went to our fundraiser for theatre! We had a car wash so we could raise money for the kids who are trying to go to New York! It was such a beautiful day! It felt just like summer! It was also a perfect day for Baseball which our Bulldogs had a game in Lakeview today! Then me and my best friend Zachery Tate went to the YMCA and worked out for a while! It felt like such a relief getting any anger or frustration out! I love working out! And I might be trying to get into better shape for Prom but... ;D

My week was kinda crazy but relaxing at the same time! Life is crazy and you never know what might happen! You just have to take whatever it gives you! Hope you have a great week!

One Act: District Competition!

So this past Thursday, I had my One Act District Competition for theatre. It was such a great experience but yet so nerve racking all at the same time! The day before that, we had a rehearsal so we could fix any new ideas or any thing we were totally unsure of. That was our time to trust in each other and know we were gonna be okay!

That Thursday, it was such an intense but sleepy morning! We had to be up at the school by 5:30 so we could leave and get to Big Spring on time! So me living in the country, I had to get up at about 4:50 so I could make it to town! When I got there, it was so quiet on that bus and we all crashed out! Not a word was spoken as we just slept.

We all woke up an hour before we reached Big Spring so that we were awake and ready to start working! We had so many laughs and tried to keep warm because for some reason our bus driver decided to turn the air on when it was clearly COLD outside! Hahah

So we get to the school and start unloading our stuff! I was one of the first people to walk into the room and standing there are these two fine boys just standing there staring at me and Kim! Let's just say me and her got their names and struck up a conversation before anyone else had time to blink! ;) Hahah P.S. I used one of my pick-lines! "Hey I lost my library card, but can I keep checking you out!" Turns out they really work! Hahah

So we are waiting for a good 3 hours before we performed but it was a lot of time for us to start focusing and getting everything together. So our performance was coming up, and we went out there and kicked major butt! We all had a high on life feeling and just knew something good was going to happen!

We won 4 awards but didn't get to go on. Our judge was not even apart of theatre. She was a debate coach!!! We were not very happy with that lady but we all had each others back and went and kicked her butt together. Hahah just kidding! But we all cried together and held each other. We knew we had each other's back! We worked our butts off and knew that no matter what anybody said, we should have went on and knew we were gonna win state!

I love my best friend Zachery Tate! We have been through everything together! I love all my friends and fellow One Acters! I have found a lot of people who have the same interests as me! I have people that I love like a brother and sister! I love you guys! Love Katelyn!

Tanning! :)

So yesterday I went tanning for the first time EVER in my life! It was so scary but very thrilling all at the same time! :) I started tanning to get ready for Prom this year and I absolutely can't wait!

So I go to Xclusive Tan for the first time ever yesterday with Connie and we go to get my little self signed up! I was so nervous because I have never done that in my LIFE!! :) I signed up and sat there to wait for my bed!

The lady calls my name and I headed in there! I was so shocked on how warm the bed was! It was a great time to take a little nap before I finished my day! :P Hahah when I was done, my whole body felt like it was glowing! I loved every minute of it!

I can't wait till my body starts showing that beautiful bronze glow! My mom was even excited about me going to go tan! Hahah I love her! :) She is so excited about Prom for this year! She is starting to make appointments for my hair, nails, she sent me off to start tanning, and she already has my dress! Hahah just think what it will be like next year for my Senior Prom! ;)

Track Meet! :)

So today i'm headed off to our Amarillo Track meet and I absolutely can NOT wait! :) I love going and meeting new people, messing around and having a good time, and seeing our Bulldogs take it all! ;)

So I haven't been on for the past two days because I have just been so dog tired! :P My schedule has been crazy and chaotic! I have been running around being a trainer for my Bulldogs!, showing my skills and rehearsing for our One Act Play District Level that we have coming up next Thursday, singing and busting a move in Acapella trying to get ready for that Red, White, and Blue Revue! and running around trying to be supportive of my friends and family in their sports and activities!

I love going and supporting those I love because 1. I can get out of the house and take a little break from my busy schedule! and 2. I just love seeing my brothers shine in their sports, livestock judging and whatever else they have going! I can't wait for baseball season cause I get to wear my shorts and drink sweet tea while watching my boys kick some butt! ;)

I love brothers so much! Even though they can grate my last nerves! When I graduate, I can show this picture to my brother and tell him,"You see this picture! Yeah this shows that you love me!!! And you better remember that! :)"

Well i'm off to cheer on my Dogs for their meet! Wish us luck! I love you guys!

Your love is extravagant!

Well tonight at Rock the Nations youth was so overwhelming and exciting! I had a real touch from God and I feel so complete now! I have felt his love enclose around me and I know there is nothing that I really want but that!

I have messed up in my life and it actually has been recently and tonight the message Pastor Lonnie was preaching just hit me in the gut! I knew that something terrific was about to happen and I wanted to be apart of it! When I stood up, the power of God just hit me and I broke down!

I wanted a change in the way I have been living and I made things right with God! Lately I have been running away from God and trying to do things my way! I have been trying to run my world and haven't even been praising Him for what he has blessed me with! And I have noticed that things haven't been running as smoothly as they should be!

A word to the wise... Listen to God and love him through the good, the bad, and the ugly! Never turn your back on God, love him whole-heartedly, and TRUST in him! He knows exactly what he is doing, even if we are totally confused or don't approve of what is happening around us! Be an example to those around you! Love always, laugh often, and live long!!!

Back to School! (Again)

Well im back to school tomorrow after having a fabulous Spring Break!

I got my rest but not really my relaxation!, spent time with my bestest friend in the whole world, read a book, made a few new friends, and got to catch up on so much gossip! (I know shame on me! PRAY FOR ME!! ;))

I have this new thing now where I write a To-Do list and put it in my wallet! Some times I get it done and sometimes i'm just to lazy to do it! But I feel like it keeps me organized and prepared for my day!

Also I have been getting up a little earlier than normal and giving Jesus a little shout-out if you would say! It makes me feel so much more relaxed and I feel that nothing stands in my way! At times I feel he doesn't here me but it helps me get my frustration, anger, happiness, or even nervousness out that I have built up!

During this Spring Break, I have this feeling that I am growing up and I feel more responsible and cautious about my actions! I feel that people look up to me whenever they have any doubt or fears and they can come to me for any help! I thank my friends for being there for me when I need help and I can learn from my past mistakes and their's!

I want to be an example to people and let them know that I am here for anything they need! And I think that is what I am going to strive to do this week! Is to be there for everyone around me and to be a strong figure in someone's life!:)

Babysitting! :)

So I didn't get on last night because I was one tired chick! I got to babysit my

best little booger Bonnie-Kayte! And she was such a sweetheart! Hahah Morgan

was there with me cause Mal was scared for me to be alone! :D Hahah and with

Morgan it was like I was watching two kids!

We started out eating cheetos and Dora fruit snacks which she absolutely loves!

Then Bonnie runs to the kitchen wanting milk! So I pour her some milk and hand

it to her! But she looks at me like i'm crazy and tells me she wants juice! So I get a new cup and hand her the juice and she gives me that look of what were you thinking crazy girl I want my milk!

So after our little dinner date, we head to the living room and start playing hide and go seek! Where's Morgan during all this you may ask well she's in the bedroom on the computer! Haha so me and Bonnie are playing around and she calls my name but she has this distressed look on her face! I realize she has just pooped! Yay me! :)

So I start changing her diaper and I hear Morgan yelling at me,"Katie I think I broke the computer!!!" Oh dear I felt like Wonder Woman with trying to help Morgan with the computer and making miss Bonnie-Kayte happy! We get the computer "fixed"! Hahaha silly girl! So we go to watch tv and just as we sit on the coach, Mommy and Daddy are home!!! Yay Bon-Bon! :)

We had a blast with all the giggles and smiles that we had! It was fun and exciting but it wore me out! :)

Oohhh the wonders of friendship!

Today was not really a productive day! Hahah me and my best fran Morgan Tate stayed home and chilled all day today watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians! :) It was amazing how we did nothing all day and yet when she left we told each other we had the most fun in a long while!

I love how you know when you have the bestest friend you could ever ask God for! Morgan has always had my back and I have had hers! We know we will always be there for each other! We laugh at each others jokes even to the point where its not even funny but we are so tired we don't even care anymore! :D




We have that friendship where we can sit next to each other, never say a word and when it's time to leave we say that that was the best conversation we have ever had! We will sit next to each other and text about someone who is sitting across the room! She can come to me and tell me all her life stories, gossips, and drama that she has had and I can tell her my Dr. Phil advise! We never have a dull moment between us! With my blonde moments as well as hers! Hahahah

I love her to death and she will always be my best friend!

So I didn't get to blog last night, so I have quite a bit to spill! :)

So yesterday was fun and interesting as it rained all day and me and Malorie got to slide through the mud all the way to her house! I had so much fun getting my hair did and it looks absolutely fabulous! ;) I was so happy and proud of my best fran miss Bonnie-Kayte cause she finally said Katie for me! All the while feeding me doritos that I really didn't want and sharing a cookie with me! I can not wait to babysit that little booger! We are gonna have the most fun!

Today, me and my bestest friend Morgan Tate Baeza went and had the best day ever! :) We started our day off going to the training room for a few hours and being bored but retarded!! Hahah then we took off and went and got my friend Nate for our little lunch date! At Chilis, we met up with a new friend, Heath, who by the way is too cute Morgan! ;) After our weird little lunch, we headed off to Wal-Mart to get our nails done! and they look fabulous!



After our Spa Treatment, we did a little shopping for my mom! Yuck! Dumb groceries, but I guess you gotta eat! After our grocery adventure we went and met up with some friends and finally headed home to take some silly, Ra-Tard pictures and roll around in the mud a little! Hahah I had so much fun today and yesterday! I love you girls and love our little adventures we get to have!

Lazy Day!

I love these Sundays where the weather is just right! It's not to hot and it's not to cold and I can just sit here and catch up on all the fun, exciting, and drama filled things that happened over the week! I'm so glad that it's Spring Break next week! I needed to have some down time!

I'm not heading anywhere for Spring Break so if anybody has any suggestions let me know! I have a whole week of nothing planned so far! I could be going with Malorie Thrasher to get our nails did but she decided to get them done without telling me!! But that's okayy! I still love you Lo! :)

Prom!

So i'm looking for my prom dress today! It brings so many different feelings! Haha I get mad if they don't have my size, i'm excited because this is my first time for prom, and i'm nervous about how i'll look and what all is gonna happen that night!

I can't wait to just be there experiencing all that will happen! I know that it will be fun, nerve racking, and thrilling!

I think i'm just ready to see all those hott boys looking mighty fine in their tuxes! Hahah :) Well for this being my first blog, it actually wasn't that bad!
